Holiday Happenings in the Snoqualmie Valley – 2020 Edition!

As this challenging year comes to a close, we hope you’ll be able to take some time to celebrate the joys of the holiday season with one (or more!) of these holiday events that have been reconfigured to keep everyone safe and healthy. Light Up Duvall – Home Edition  |  Dec. 4
You are invited to enjoy Light Up Duvall’s annual community celebration . . . from HOME this year on Friday, Dec. 4! You can join in the fun by ordering take out from your favorite Duvall restaurant and settle in to watch the festivities starting around 6 p.m. You can watch the Duvall Tree Pole Lighting virtually via Facebook Live, and check for the route Santa and Mrs. Claus will be driving on their sleigh after they light the tree! SnoValley Small Business Holiday Scavenger Hunt  |  Dec. 5
To help celebrate and support our local small businesses, the True North kids are building an epic, self-directed, app-based HOLIDAY scavenger hunt for you and your family. All missions will be built to celebrate the holidays, showcase the beauty of the valley, and the great folks that run our local businesses and restaurants. Learn more and register here.

 

Fall City Virtual Holiday Market  |  Beginning Nov. 1
To keep the community safe, the Fall City Holiday Market will be held virtually this year. Vendors may offer up their goods on the “FC HolidayMarket” Facebook page. Vendors will deliver merchandise via mail or other safe delivery methods.

 

North Bend Hometown Holly Days Countdown Calendar  |  Nov. 28 – Dec. 25
As an effort to celebrate the holidays safely, the City of North Bend has teamed up with the North Bend Downtown Foundation for a special Holly Days virtual celebration this holiday season: the Hometown Holly Days Countdown Calendar. From Nov. 28 through Dec. 25, this unique calendar is your one-stop location for information about local, virtual holiday events, fundraisers, and activities to help you #KeepitLocalNorthBend and support local businesses and organizations during the holidays.

You’re invited to browse and shop for unique holiday gifts from local artisans Nov. 25 to Dec. 9, all from the comfort of your own home. Snoqualmie Winter Lights  |  Thanksgiving – New Year’s
Snoqualmie Winter Lights begins Thanksgiving and runs through New Year’s for holiday cheer all season long. The trail makes for a delightful holiday drive and has many stops for selfies and holiday photos or grab and go treats from local shops and restaurants. Please maintain social distancing and wear masks when outside of your vehicle. Learn more and view the trail map here.

 

Santa Train with the Northwest Railway Museum  |  Dec. 5 – 19
Join Santa and his elves on the Yuletide Express! Your socially distanced, 25-minute holiday train excursion begins at the historic Snoqualmie Depot. Board seasonally decorated, antique coaches, and travel west to Snoqualmie Falls, pausing briefly at the crest for a view of the river valley before returning to Snoqualmie. Each child receives a small gift from Santa, and each ticket-holder receives two cookies. Tickets must be purchased online, in advance of your train ride. Learn more here.
