The Snoqualmie Valley Wine Experience

It’s no secret that the Snoqualmie Valley is home to picturesque mountains, fields and rivers, an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities, and friendly towns and farming communities – but did you know the Valley is also home to nine wineries? These family-owned establishments have come together to form an unofficial alliance to help support one another and generate interest in the Valley wine scene.

Snoqualmie Valley wineries are known for a unique, friendly experience, with a laid-back vibe and wide array of varietals available for tasting. Many times you’ll be served directly by the winemaker, providing an up close and personal experience with the opportunity to learn something new from the artisan behind your drink.

“As a wine lover myself, I have always enjoyed visiting unique tasting rooms with quaint settings. I love the experience of winding through country roads and coming across these hidden gems. The Snoqualmie Valley Wine Experience was created by a group of wine enthusiasts that feel the same way. Each of our small, boutique wineries offer a place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beauty that the Snoqualmie Valley has to offer.” — Cathy Porter, Cherry Valley Winery

Want to explore these wineries? You can grab a Snoqualmie Valley Wine Experience brochure online here, or pick one up from any of the participating wineries. Collect stamps from each location, then turn in your completed brochure to be entered for the chance to win a basket of wine with bottles from each of the wineries. Winners are named quarterly, including drawings taking place this March and June 2020.

Wineries are sprinkled throughout the Valley, so consider breaking your wine adventure into multiple visits, and pair with other great activities such as a bike ride on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail, scenic drive, self-guided art tour, historical walking tour, or simply stroll through the quaint downtowns to eat, drink, and explore. Make sure to check out our interactive map and trip itineraries for other ideas of how to explore the Valley.
