Friends of the Fields Annual Benefit Dinner and Auction

May 20, 2017, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Description

We hope you will join us to support more farmers on more farmland, growing more sustainable food and fiber for our community! We’ll enjoy a scrumptious dinner, fantastic local beverages, live music, and abundant auction fun at the beautiful and historic Carnation Farms. We’ll dress up a bit, “farm fancy” (that’s tie optional!), and start with a glass or two of delicious Washington wine, or a glass of beer from Snoqualmie Brewery, to accompany delicious appetizers while browsing the silent auctions and visiting with local farmers. Next, we’ll savor a lovely dinner prepared with local ingredients by Executive Chef Kim Aue of Carnation Farms. Bid often and bid high on amazing experiences, art, and donated treasures in the live auction, and join forces with table-mates to secure the top choice of delicacies in a fun dessert dash! Finally we invite you to dance what remains of the night away with tunes brought to us by a local DJ, Geoff Bough.

We’ll raise the paddle for sustainable, local food production! These funds support our Carnation Farmers Market, our Experience Farming Project, our monthly potluck talks and farm tours, our CRAFT program, and our farm-positive policy advocacy. Thank you for your generous contributions supporting our efforts to Re-Seed the Valley!
