Heirloom Cookshop Class: Canning

Heirloom Cookshop is pleased to announce an exciting new cooking class schedule!  Please join Chef Kristen Schumacher and guest chefs for classes emphasizing seasonal fresh foods from the beautiful Pacific Northwest. The guest chefs and Heirloom staff will show you culinary techniques for everything from cooking meats and seafood, creative vegetable cookery, to making your own corn tortillas, preserving, and building a DIY pantry. Heirloom Cookshop invites the Snoqualmie Valley to grab a friend or two & join them in an intimate class in the lovely historic downtown Snoqualmie cookshop where you’ll be learning, eating & enjoying all that the seasons have to offer!

 

Canning Class with Marianna August 1

Summer in the Pacific Northwest means produce, produce, produce! This class covers canning safety as well as how to pickle vegetables, and make jam and jelly. Each student will go home with their own jars of each flavor!
