Snoqualmie Valley PhotoWalk
Thursday, September 24, 2020, 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm
Travel photographers and photo educators John and Lisa Merrill are offering fun, safe opportunities to connect and create together. Their Snoqualmie Valley PhotoWalk features fascinating places with abundant photo opportunities including the Northwest Railway Museum, Snoqualmie River, farms, and alpacas.
Hands-on photo coaching can be transformative. With John and Lisa’s tips and encouragement, you’ll work with light and compose for impact — intentionally making, versus taking, photos. The Merrills will help you jumpstart your photography and create compelling images to treasure and share.
Photographers of all experience levels and ages (10+) are welcome, with any camera (including mobile phones). To ensure a personalized learning experience, each PhotoWalk is limited to 4 participants. For safety during the pandemic, everyone drives separately, maintains >8’ distance and wears a mask.
A week after the PhotoWalk, the group will reconvene via Zoom for an hour to show images and give and get supportive feedback. The Photo Review is a fun opportunity to be inspired by what others created at the same locations, and continue your journey as a photographer.
$99 per person (fee includes 5 hours of on-location photo coaching and a 1 hour group PhotoReview)
