Tinkham Road at Sigillo Cellars
Saturday, April 27, 2019, 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm
An event every month that begins at 7:30 pm on day Last of the month, repeating indefinitely
Come and experience music from our corner of the world–representing the diverse and beautiful history of Seattle, the Snoqualmie Valley and the Puget Sound.
Tinkham Road is a collective of musicians performing historical music of the Snoqualmie Valley and Pacific Northwest. From logging ballads to railroad tunes and original music inspired by our local landscape, Tinkham Road plays an eclectic mix of old and new. Members include Jeremy Rule on cello, Ryan Donnelly on upright bass, Gavin Treglown on guitar, Bob Antone on violin and guitar, Parker Antone on banjo, violin and musical saw, Chase Rabideau-Hannah on guitar and voice plus the occasional guest!
Going on the third year of once a month performances at Sigillo (last Saturday of each month), the band has developed a large following. If you like Twin Peaks inspired jazz, folk music of the northwest, western swing and Irish traditional music, you will enjoy this group! They perform songs like “I Will See You in Seattle Celia Mine 1909″, Little Log Cabin in the Cascade Mountains 1917” and “The Frozen Logger 1926”. Besides logging and train history, some the lyrics are sung in old Native American dialects such as Whulshootseed and Chinook Jargon.
