In 1892 Edmund Kinsey, father of photographers Darius and Clark Kinsey, originally built this structure across the street as the Methodist Church based on Benjamin Price’s Church Plans.  In the 1920s it was moved across the street on logs to serve as the new home for American Legion Renton-Pickering Post. This building is the second oldest in Snoqualmie.
